Makita XSS02Z 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 6-1/2″ Circular Saw Review
Pros:
- Left-hand blade mount (makes it easier for a right-hander to cut straight & see the blade in my opinion)
- Lightweight & portable
- Very easy to make adjustments to the saw
- Very large line-up of tools in the 18-volt LXT series
- Quiet
- For me, it is the perfect saw for a variety of quick jobs.
Cons:
- The batteries are expensive. They are very good but expensive.
- The saw is so light & easy to use that you might be tempted to use it in an unsafe manner.
- It’s so quiet that it’s tempting to not use ear protection with it, but I think it’s still probably a good idea to use ear protection with it.
